Terms & Conditions

1. It is understood that the consignor has agreed and accepted all the terms & conditions mentioned with the goods consignment note issued & handed over.
2. The Logistics Company is not responsible for any breakage/leakage/damage to the goods in transit due to improper packaging/loading/stacking of the material.No certificate will be issued for such events by the company.
3. All liquids,oil,ghee,fruits and vegetables will be carried at Owner’s Risk only.Dangerous and Inflammable goods will not be carried by the company.The logistics company is not responsible for the goods declared contraband by any Government Authority.
4. Consignor is fully responsible for all consequences of any incorrect or false declarations/documentations,while dispatching the goods.The consignor will take every precaution to comply with the customer/government regulations in force ,as the logistics company is unknown to nature contents condition,packages and value of the goods specified in the consignment note.
5. If the logistics company does not delete on of the two inscriptions on the face of this lorry receipt namely CARRIERS RISK/OWNER RISK ,this lorry receipt shall be deemed to have been issued at OWNER RISK only.
6. The logistics operator shall have the goods to any other lorry or service for transport.In the event of the goods being entrusted by the logistics operator to another carrier,the transport operator or its agent is deemed to be responsible for the safe delivery of the goods to its destination.
7. Delivery of the goods to its consignee party will be made as soon as possible in the same order and conditions as received from the consignor but the logistics company will not be responsible for any delay,damage,breakage,pilferage,evaporation,effects of temperature,weather conditions,strikes,lockouts,riots,civil or political disturbance,explosion,theft,fire or accident of the vehicle by which goods are being transported.
8. Where the goods have been lost,destroyed,damaged or have deteriorated,the compensation payable by the company shall not exceed the value declared in the consignment note.
9. EasyGo Logistics Pvt Ltd shall have the right to dispose of the perishable goods lying undelivered after 48 hours of arrival without any notice and not liable for any compensation for the goods and will collect deference of freight,demurrage,and other incidental along with disposal charges if any.
10. Company will not be responsible for any delay,damages or losses to the goods in case the vehicle carrying the material is been seized or detained or confiscated by appropriate Govt. Authorities.
11. The goods should be unloaded within 7 hours after its arrival at the destination,failing to do so will be liable for demurrage /detention charges.No enquiry claim will be entertained by the company regarding shortages/damages/leakages after 24 hours of the successful delivery of goods.
12. In case of any claim regarding damages or shortages of the material the same should be notified in writing within 24 hours of delivery time failing to which the claim will be considered null and void.
13. The goods will be delivered against all the charges to the consignee. In case the weight exceeds the the specified value ,consignor/consignee will be liable to pay freight for extra(additional) weight and penalties at the check posts if any,along with earlier approved freight charges.
14. In case the goods are required to be called back due to any reason,the company will not be bound to carry material back except the condition acceptable to the company itself against full freight charges.
15. All Disputes will be settled at Pune Jurisdiction only.
16. The Consignor is liable to go through the above Terms & Conditions of EasyGo Logistics Pvt Ltd carefully before dispatching any of its goods & these conditions are subject to change without notice.
